I'm trying to show subtitles on my tv without force transconde them

I'm sure the TV is able to handle it since It does when I play videos on USB drives, but even trying every other setting in this forum older posts i cant get any progress

I decided download Dlna Client apps on my cellphone and desktop and they both didn't show the subtitles also when UMS is setted to NOT TRANSCODE VIDEO


is it possible to get subtitles without transcode?

Yes it is possible if your TV supports sending subtitles via DLNA protocol. To evaluate if it is possible we need more information. Please follow the Forum rules at viewtopic.php?f=9&t=556 and send the log.

it was work previously with force external sub + automatic load sub and the same name file, with skip transcoding for the video
but they didnt work anymore at 7.0.1
i'll try it with 7.1.0 hopefully they work again
