i have been using PMS for a long time and am a fan of subjunk's builds and now that subjunk is more active in improvements i was wondering if anything can be done to make adding web content more easier like having a section in the GUI where you can add something like shoutcast radio channels instead of having to go edit the UMS.conf file

The "easier" web content adding is probably along the lines of NaviX and Channels (at least in my opinion) since these methods allows you to have rather "advanced" scripting/scraing mechanisms to be able to get the real stream url out of there.
