Same problem...

"(1999) Star Wars - Episode I - Die dunkle Bedrohung_[deu,eng].mkv" does NOT play.

"(1983) Star Wars - Episode VI - Die Rückkehr der Jedi-Ritter {Special Edition}_[deu,eng].mkv" does play fine.

Added new log zip.

Any news about my bug? I uploaded the current / wished log zip...

It seems to me that the problem is in the WDTVLive.conf. There are lines which mean that all video and audio formats are supported for container MKV which is obviously not true. That is why the "(1999) Star Wars - Episode I - Die dunkle Bedrohung_[deu,eng].mkv" does NOT play because it is streamed not transcoded. I am not sure if e.g. is supported by the WD TV Live.
The second "(1983) Star Wars - Episode VI - Die Rückkehr der Jedi-Ritter {Special Edition}_[deu,eng].mkv" is transcoded because internal subtitles are in Vobsub format and that is why it is playing well.
To fix it the line should be canged to something like and maybe add also video formats.
I am not sure which video and audio formats are really supported so it must be tuned up.

I am not sure, if i understand you correctly. I don't have this problems in UMS 7.5.0 and before. UMS 7.6.0 and later has this problems. Hmm

I installed UMS Download 8.0.0 ALPHA 1.

I checked the files again and the same happened. These above specific files doesn't play.

so i changed "WesternDigital-WDTVLive.conf" with this below line like you suggested. Same problem.



Supported = f:mkv a:aac-lc|he-aac|ac3|adpcm|eac3|lpcm|mp3|mpa|opus|vorbis|wma m:video/x-matroska



I can only repeat myself again: This problem is since 7.6.0.
7.5.0 and before was no problem.

Well, i see there seem to be some trouble about the bug.
So i will stick to 7.5.0 where is no problem about playing MKV's.
