installer windows: make startmenu/desktopicon optional

Is it possible to make the 'create startmenu' and 'desktop icon' optional in the installer? or please make it so the user can select in what place it needs to be added (just like you can select where you want UMS to be installed) and remember the last place (which many installers do). Everytime I update UMS I have to move/delete the menu's as I have them nicely categorized...
