Sony BDP-S4200P renderer?? Anyone?

Post by 0arben0 »

Hello, i'm kinda new to DLNA. I'm using UMS to stream on my Panasonic ET60 and almost everything works fine, except it doesn't support DTS audio.
To get that (everything is connected to an ONKYO TXR508) i just bought a Sony BDP-S4200P that supports DTS, but it's not that supported by the SonyBluray.conf renderer. (strong lags, black screen, unsupported file...)
Can anyone help me fix the .conf for my Bluray Player?? :P :P
I found the manual online that tells the formats supported by the player... :geek:

A meaningful answer depends on the actual container of the dts audio, so attaching set of TRACE logs showing an attempt to stream specific dts files would be helpful. Sony Bluray appears to have issues with dts-hd, btw. Do your files play via USB?

It has issues with playing most files via DLNA, i still haven't tried USB.
I streamed a couple movies with DTS (i usually stream .mkv movies withoud DTS-HD) but the screen was black, however the ampli played and showed DTS :D
