How to show Thumbnails in XBox 360

Do I need to name the Thumbnails file differently so that XBox can show them?

e.g. if I have movie called mymovie.mp4 what should be the name of the Thumbnail image? Currently I have them named my movie.jpg but that does not show. So I was wondering if I need to rename them as something else?
