Unable to play video files unless under "no transcode"

Post by InEbre8d »

So I've been using UMS for a long time and I've never experienced a thing like this. I don't know if it's Sony PS3 having updated firmware that is messing things up but I'm unable to play many files without going to the transcode file and playing only under "no transcode"

I consistently get the data not supported 800288E1 error or unsupported data file errors. Don't know what to do. Cannot remember which UMS really worked well as there was either an issue with .avi, .iso, or .mkv files. I just worked around it but it is getting frustrating now as nothing seems to work. I've included debug zip files from 5.5.0, 6.0.0 and 6.5.2. I did clean installs on both but kept the configuration the same.

If you need more please let me know.
