Turning off generate thumbnail turns everything into a generic file icon (ie: mkv icon). Maybe it was because the test was with an audio file that your fix worked.

Sorry this took so long, its been a busy week. I didn't have any small video files, so I used an audio file.

By "not working" I mean that the folder.jpg isn't being used for the thumbnails for the files in that folder. Instead the default (4 secs in) thumbnail displays. UMS up to 7b2 worked as expected. I will upload a zip when I get home.

Just clean installed 6.7.4 and folder.jpg doesn't work.

Registered just to say that I am also having this problem with my PS4 after upgrading to 7rc from 7b. For some reason 7rc will not recognize folder.jpg files.
