Yeah, I'm running Windows 7 64-bit. I allowed UMS through the Firewall, and now the status tab shows "Searching for Renderers", instead of "No renderers found". So we're making progress! But then I booted up the PS3 and searched for media servers again, and still came up with nothing. Any other ...

I didn't see anything in any of the guides about what to do with the firewall... can you help me out with that? And for the networking, one of the guides said to find what kind of network card I had, and put that in the "Force networking on interface" dropdown, but that's the only change I made to ...

I'm determined to get video streaming between my PC and PS3. There are so many .mkv files that I cannot successfully convert to any other file type, so I'd rather try to stream them straight from my PC to my PS3, rather than trying to convert them to a format that the PS3 can play without assistance ...
