Hello, I posted a similar problem just last week, my PS3 read heavy MKV files, after a restart all automatic settings are gone,
and the transcoding is difficult, in some cases a message like "non supported" appears....

Hello,
I have installed UMS on my MAC a few days ago, in order to watch my MKV movies via PS3 and then on TV.
All was perfect just installed, no settings was required, and heavy MKV files worked well.
But the next day I restart the PS3 and all MKV files listed once selected to play was followed by ...
