@Whyexes please test the attached conf based on the Samsung 8 series.conf Samsung-6series.conf I'm not sure that config is going to work as it includes DTS support. If you want to see how the files are encoded, open then in VLC Player and then go to Window -> Media Information and check out the codecs. I have a 2018 Samsung Q6 series TV. It's able to play x264 and x265 without transcoding. However, if the audio is DTS, then UMS will need to transcode as Samsung removed DTS support in 2018. I'm running on Mac OS 10.14.1. Upgraded from 7.5.0 to 7.6.2 and now it doesn't always work. The app is running but the GUI doesn't show up and the TV doesn't see the server. Thank you for responding. My TV doesn't support DTS or DTSHD but is able to play TrueHD. I ended up adding TrueHD to my renderer and it's been working since.
