You could try manually setting the network interface.
Go to the General Configuration tab and under Network Settings (Advanced) use the dropdown for Force networking on interface: to choose your local network.

Hi geryde I've opened an issue for the bug that you've reported. When I tested it, I did find that I could play the full No Transcoding video without an initial chapter skip, and use the right arrow button to skip ahead chapters according to the timing I set but I'm not sure if that's a feature your...
