To make it working (Web Interface and debuggin too), on Linux Ubuntu 18.04:

- Do not start UMS from java file (ums.jar) but from UMS.sh (make it executable).

-If error message appears download and install the Java 8 JDK: sudo apt-get install openjdk-8-jdk

-Don't use internal java machine ...

You are right, but no log files seems to be generated by UMS.

= starting UMS in trace mode (also by terminal with root permission) no degub.log file is generated.

I have the same problem. No way to get into web interface. Same message error.
OS Linux distro Ubuntu 18.04.
Before it works perfectly.

Please could someone give some info to solve ?
