Re: Privacy of Files

When I opened DMZ (my PC had external IP) for my computer which was running UMS, I noticed that there were two renderers connected outside from my local network. They had external IP addresses. When I searched, who owned these IP`s, they were associated with somthin.amazon.com

Re: LG tv can't play files unless transcode 'no transcoding' selected!

Maybe there is a mistake:

Code: Select all

MaxVideoWidth = 3840
MaxVideoHeight = 1260
Maybe @valib ment this:

Code: Select all

MaxVideoWidth = 3840
MaxVideoHeight = 2160

tsMuxeR - when to use it?

Hi. I have been trying to understand what is tsMuxeR, when to use it and what are the benefits of it. By searching in Google and in UMS Help page, I understand that it is sending a video and audio separate to the renderer. But what I did not find was - what are the benefits? And when do I use it? Re: Another program is using port 500X, which UMS needs.

Yes, the Universal Media Server was still in Service list.
Deleted it with

Code: Select all

sc delete "Digital Media Server"
And now, after reboot, the ports are working

Thank you.

Re: Another program is using port 500X, which UMS needs.

And I think it is somehow connected with my previous error which is now fixed, where [java.exe] accessed medias.mv.db file before UMS started, which resulted in stuck on Splash screen when [javaw.exe] tried to access it.

Re: Another program is using port 500X, which UMS needs.

I have checked "Start with Windows" and installed as Windows service. Should only one of them be selected? Edit: I uninstalled as Windows service, but I got the same error again, after reboot I need to change port. Edit 2: So, I changed port to 5020 and rebooted the computer. After reboot ...

Another program is using port 500X, which UMS needs.

Hi. Every time, when I turn on my PC and UMS loads (auto or manual), I get a error "Another program is using port 500X, which UMS needs.". 13:28:24 INFO Loading renderer configurations from C:\Program Files (x86)\Universal Media Server\renderers 13:28:24 INFO Enabled 171 configurations, li...
