Just installed V10.1 and it is working as expected. Thanks a lot for the change.
However tsMuxeR Video now shows some errors. I will check the logfiles and create a new thread if the behavior is not reported yet.

Just as a follow up (but I guess you were not able to find a fix yet 
) the issue is also present with the official 10.0.0 release.
If I could try to install something in the OS manually to narrow the root-cause down, let me know.

I do have the same issue and the logfile states an error whilst loading usr/local/opt/x264/lib/libx264.160.dylib All was fine until I upgraded to V10.x lately.
