Re: Version 5.0.0-a1 is released

Just a heads up for some reason this update broke my 360's ability to browse past the first layer of directory's. I rolled back and everything working as per normal. Host machine is Win7 x64. I second this. I have 3 external drives hooked up. 1 Drobo 4 bay via USB 1 external USB HD 1 Drobo 5n conne...

Re: Vizio Smart TVs

I gave TVmobili a try last night and it worked. I was able to browse folders and video's on my Vizio TV without issue. I honestly was not expecting it to work. Another thing that was impressive was viewing the files from my PS3. On UMS it takes a while to load the file list and display the thumbnail...

Re: Vizio E600i-B3

Plugging a USB harddrive into the TV allows the videos to play fine. The issue seems to be streaming.
Any current Vizio TV users here? I am thinking about getting another TV for the living room as you really cant beat the price for a 60".

Re: Vizio E600i-B3

Ok so it seems to work a lot better wired but still has issues. It does display folder names without issue and in a timely manner compared to wireless. If you have a ton of video files in 1 folder it takes a long while to scan them. After it get's done scanning the file names it then tries to scan t...

Re: Vizio E600i-B3

It supports DLNA and can see UMS just find. It does take a long time to scan the drives. Once you open a folder that contains video files it can take 30+ minutes before responding. The whole TV acts like it locks up and none of the buttons work on the remote. You need to unplug the TV for 10 seconds...

Vizio E600i-B3

The TV says that it is DLNA compliant but I cannot figure out how to connect it to UMS. Is there an app that I need to enable? It looks like on the older models the app used to be call "PlayApp'. But this one seems to be missing that... If anyone has one of these TV's and have figured out how t...

Samsung TV Loading...

While I am in the process of moving to a new house I installed my laptop at a friends who has a Samsung smart TV. The movies I have tried start and play great for a while but then the TV says loading and the movie pauses for a bit. The movies are 720p with DTS sound. Is this an issue with the wirele...

Subtitles

I have been playing around with UMS for some time but still cannot figure out the subtitles. I am running the Windows version. I would like all internal subs disabled if a .srt file exists. If substitles are set to eng,off and an external .srt file exists it does not play any subtitles. I have to se...
