Hi gang;

I am using UMS 11.4.1

When I play a particular MKV it displays internal subtitles (selectable subtitles embedded in the MKV file, not external nor hardcoded).

If I play this same MKV using Windows Media Player, it doesn't display the subtitles by default, and I can see in the subtitles ...

Any help?

It seems every month I have new connectivity issues with UMS. Which is too bad because I love it.

Currently, I have been using my PS3 to connect to UMS which then displays my content on my LG TV. I would like to get rid of the PS3 so tonight I tried connecting my LG TV directly to UMS ...

I took your advice and wiped UMS from my PC, then installed the latest 11.4.1. And voila! Its working again.

I guess I should have known that would be the next step but I wanted to prevent messing anything up.

One question for everyone - in the past, I had trouble with thumbnails ...

I logged into my router. It is a Bell Smart Hub 4000.

I checked and it says:

UPnP - ON
DLNA - ON

My connection is wired.

What about Port Forwarding? Do I need to open a port to allow UMS to work correctly? Perhaps the old router had those open and this new does not?

Any other suggestions? Is ...

I am also attaching my log files, and uploading the TRACE files.
