When I try to create a new user while UMS analyses new media (see status bar at the bottom), the focus in the Username text box gets lost with every new file and the original values for user and password a restored (data of current user?).

I don't think that log files are helpful here.

I totally missed that.

Hi all,

I tried to change the server (settings) web page language to English serveral times. It also saved this setting but the page is still displayed in German. Any ideas how to change?

Hi all,

while UMS analysis the media files at startup, I can't create a new user, because after every file ("Getting API info..." in the status line) the focus is lost.
Is that a known issue? Can't find it.

Hi,

the vendor of the PC created an initial user named "Windows" which I am using.
There are not entries in the logs since Norton seems to block UMS.exe completely.

I recently updated UMS to v13.9.0. Now UMS.exe gets blocked by Norton 360.
When I start UMS.bat instead, it seems to work. Any ideas?

This is a known bug and has been fixed in 13.8.0

It is not actually hanging, the notification just does not go away.

You can still use the old GUI if you need to change some settings or edit UMS.conf in a text editor.

I just installed UMs on my new WIndows 10 computer. Basically it works. I was able to adapt the "Shared Content". But unfortunately I am not able to save configuration changes. If I try I shows "Saving your configuration changes" and hangs without actually saving the changes.

You should be able to fix it by deleting the database and it will be rebuilt when UMS next starts up.
