I was wondering if any has successfully played a Flash video on the PS3s web browser using UMS web interface "version 5.0.0"?? All I get is a infinite loading Perhaps the kinks are still being worked out to get it to work

K, thanks. Don't have windows 8.1 installed anymore but I have 2 other computers at home with windows, so I will just compile the program, and send it to my laptop

install it manually by running the following command in a terminal (from anywhere) and enter your password when prompted:
sudo apt-get install python-setuptools

I recenly installed UBUNTU Linux 64bit on my Laptop and installed UMS 4.0.3, Jumpy and XBMC, but Jumpy shows up when I launch UMS but it doesn't show my XBMC Video Addons?!? In short ps4 doesn't support ogg. It only supports mp4. Which we haven't had any success in transcoding to.

Have you to a look at how Plex Transocodes its videos via the Web interface ...

Now I tried with my cellphone and Chrome on it can't play my videos (even after the speed fix). However running ff on the same device works like a charm.
So always run ff it works best...
