I have 14.5.1 installed. Today I noticed that 14.6.0 is released. Updating to 14.6.0 means installing the new .exe or will the settings be lost?

I think I have found the error.
The UMS is installed on a computer running Windows 10. This computer is in another room. I control this computer via Windows Remote Desktop. This somehow influences the UMS and causes it to shut down.

Where can I find the log file after the server stopped?

Hello,
it seems as if the server has been shut down from time to time without me intending it to. Is there a way to check whether the Server is still running using a batch or something similar?

that is true, but when you right mouse click on the UMS Icon in the taskbar every user can open the settings.

once you have started the UMS, everyone on the computer has access to the UMS Settings. Is it possible to protect access to the settings with a password?
