[Solved] Wrong cover art aspect ratio
I have a Samsung F6200 TV. It used to not show thumbnails and cover art, but with version 4.2.1 it does (I've skipped some versions, so it might have been earlier).
However, the cover art shows with a wrong aspect ratio (stretched horizontally). The thumbnails generated from the videos are most of ...

[Solved] External subs worked on 4.0.3 but don't on 4.1.0
I noticed yesterday that some videos with external subtitles that used to work fine with UMS 4.0.3 now don't work with 4.1.0.
I thought maybe I had messed something up, because I had been fiddling with some settings, so I've uninstalled UMS, deleted the ProgramData/UMS folder and installed it again ...

Re: Samsung F6200 doesn't show thumbnails
Ok, thanks.
I'm uploading the log again, because the last one was with ThumbnailAsResource=true. I had not read the text well... Anyway, the result is the same. No thumbs.

Re: Samsung F6200 doesn't show thumbnails
I still don't get any thumbnails. I'm uploading the logs, to see if they help.

Re: How does thumbnail creation work?
I have 3.6.2 now, and I have even updated the OS from Vista to W7, and I get the same results.
I'm starting to think I should try to debug it myself, but I've never worked with java, so I would have to start from scratch. Maybe if I find some free time to set everything up

Re: How does thumbnail creation work?
Did anybody have time to take a look into this?
I've found that the high values in the "-ss" parameter are actually the full duration of the videos, in seconds. So, yes, it's actually taking the thumbnail from the last second of the film. But it escapes me why it would do that...
