v6.0.0 still no go

No, never worked for me. VLC for iOS finds the UPnP server but there are no files.

In this matter UMS 5.4.0 is no different than any other prior versions.

Same here, Java 8 version on Lion Server 10.7.5.

No log, no renderers, no files can be played by my Samsung D6500.



UMS v5.4.0 Java 8 works fine.

v4.2.1 (Java 7):

Thumbs are there if Mencoder is selected for thumbnail generation. If unchecked, the thumbs are gone again

Tried with a fresh UMS folder in Application Support and it's like I said in my earlier post. No thumbs but srt support appears to be OK. Also, the cache seems to be enabled by default?

What Samsung TV do you have? UE40D6750 here...

UMS v4.1.3:

Java 6 version plays srt files but shows no thumbs

If you refer to UMS-4.1.2-Java-7_Tsmuxnew_fix then that's a negative... no change to the released version 4.1.2

UMS v4.1.1 (Java 6) appears to play srt files just fine, however there are no thumbnails.
UMS v4.1.1 (Java 7) behaves like v4.1.0, neither external subtitles nor thumbnails.
