Yep I see what you mean. I looked at the file with Media Info and it shows no ASS stream like the others. Interesting. Same sub group as most the others, wonder why it's not subtitled using the same method. Anyway if I go into the Transcode menu on the player for that file and use FFmpeg or MEncoder ...

I wonder if this has anything to do with the notes in SonyBluray.conf, which have different sections for different players.

Here is the log in Trace mode showing one that fails (Shows M2TS in the list view) and one that works (Shows MPEG). All the mkv's showing MPEG work, if they show M2TS they fail.

It fixed most of them, but I still have some that show up as M2TS and fail. Most now show MPEG and work properly. I'll upload a new log shortly showing the failed ones in Trace mode.
