I have just installed USM and my PS4 will not recognize it at all. PMS recognizes it but will not stream any .mkv files nor anything with DTS audio. Any Ideas?

Yeah, using the new conf file, it will play a lot of files without transcoding - assuming that they're AC3 or mp3 sound.

Just letting you know, the same bug as in 4.21 and 4.22 still exists..
It doesn't like \u in pathnames...

Figured I'd jump in as well - same problem, probably same fix...
changing the directory name makes it start.
4.20 is the last version I can use

I've been using UMS for movies through my PS3 happily for years...
Just recently, I tried using it for my music (stereo mp3's), and I noticed that it bypasses my subwoofer completely. (Obviously, it sends just a stereo stream)...

Had the same issue, couldn't figure out why it used to work but no longer did
Spent quite some time staring at transcoding settings!

So far it's been working great for me! No complaints connecting to it from my PS3!

Just an FYI - I've started getting server not detected with my PS3 since 2.6.2...
I'm running Java 7u13.
