I have some movies with a lot of embedded subs and language tracks. If I remove some of them (all except english) with mkvtoolnix-6.3 (gui) the initial loading times on the TV increase a lot. Since my Samsung ES tv does not support embedded S_HDMV/PGS subs I would like to disable them in order to use the external .srt subtitles file. Is this possible at all with UMS? I have the UMS 2.6.5 version.

Pick any film with idx from any torrent site.

Tried the 1.5.0 version but no luck.
I tried also putting the filename.en.idx/sub but didn't work.
Anything else I should try?

Any news concerning the IDX/SUB external subtitles?
Are they supported at all or I am just wasting my time trying to make it work?
The TV is Samsung ES8090. I can see that the subtitles are somehow detected because of the "filename.mkv{ External Subtitles }" but that's it. They are not displayed ...
