Removing parts of a mkv container increases the loading time
I have some movies with a lot of embedded subs and language tracks. If I remove some of them (all except english) with mkvtoolnix-6.3 (gui) the initial loading times on the TV increase a lot. From 2-3 seconds to maybe 20-30. I see no or very small traffic from the PC to the TV during this time. Any ...

How to disable embedded subs and use external .srt
Since my Samsung ES tv does not support embedded S_HDMV/PGS subs I would like to disable them in order to use the external .srt subtitles file. Is this possible at all with UMS? Tried the 1.5.0 version but no luck.
I tried also putting the filename.en.idx/sub but didn't work.

Any news concerning the IDX/SUB external subtitles? Are they supported at all or I am just wasting my time trying to make it work? The TV is Samsung ES8090. I can see that the subtitles are somehow detected because of the "filename.mkv{ External Subtitles }" but that's it. They are not dis...
