maybe this will fix the *.mkv problem on my ps3 too! it would be sooo good...

hi whistler, thank you for your ideas. i will try the ffmpeg version you told me to try.

update:
just tried it today with a samsung tv and it just worked like a charm!
tried it now back at home with my ps3 and it is not working again!

(tried it with the same file on all tests)

now i get this error message after i tried to start the playback:
"Media Server Error:
A network error has ...

It is not working with the new version (v4.2.1) either.

Tried Java 7 and 8 -> not working.

Tried the 5er Testversion -> not working

i can watch everything but *.mkv files which is really making me unhappy.

i tried to "downgrade" to the older ffmpeg version, but still, getting the same. is there ...

I can not play any MKV File on my Playstation via UMS after installing:

Is there any workarround, so that i can use both?
