Re: Sony finally released a media player for the ps4!
I'll chip in - this latest config seems to allow files with subtitles (separate ones) to play...but it causes some 720p mp4's of mine to play with constant jittering/buffering, where they played fine before updating the config file. Any ideas on this? Thanks for your work!

Re: Accent issues in folder/file titles
Update: the files/folders do appear when the renderer is a Samsung TV - but clicking on the files gives an error of 'media not supported'. This is clearly an issue with the accents being present, as removing them allows the files to play as normal. I'm at a loss...

Then I installed the Java 6 version of 4.2.1, and all issues are resolved. This includes the accent bug I was seeing, where files with accented letters in their titles would ...

[Solved] Very slow startup
I'm running the Java 8 version of UMS 4.2.1 on Yosemite, and am noticing very slow startup times compared to prior versions. From the log it looks like it's not UMS's fault - in other words, it looks like it's Java taking the time (approximately three minutes) to get into gear. Is anyone else ...
