Version 8 works well but since version 7.6 I have to start with ums.bat. I cannot start directly with program. My PS3 does not see UMS.
Also, not sure how to remove {English subtitles} from file names.
When I updated to 7.7.0 subtitles went away but fixed when I went to 8.0.0-a1

Still running great. I've updated my PC to an Intel i7 and did a clean install. I'm now running UMS 5.1.2. I have no DLNA error and UMS pops up almost instantly in the XMB! Faster CPU means more joy.

So, another update: It seems that UMS takes some time to get fired up. If I turn on the PS3 while waiting for UMS I get the 2006 error. If UMS is already running I do not get the error.
