If you name you xbox1 *XBox* ums recognises it as a xbox360 and the console ignores the response.

Re: [Solved] Xbox one being recognised as xbox 360 on 6.3.2
Sorry SubJunk, not sure it's solved. I have a workaround but ums seems to be matching on entire header data instead of just useragent. Is this expected behaviour?

Re: Xbox one being recognised as xbox 360 on 6.3.2
Sorry for the late reply, I have not had chance to test it in isolation. However I believe I have found the culprit, and it's a daft one at that.
The problem was because I had named my XBOne StusXbox1. Changing it to StusXBone resovled the problem. The Xbox360 renderer config has Xbox in the ...

Xbox one being recognised as xbox 360 on 6.3.2
I have been using UMS since it was pms and have come across a number of issues I am generally able to sort out myself. However one thing I cannot get around is my xbox one is not showing the server in the Media Player app.
I have only had it a week so cannot comment if the same happened on any ...

Linux Software Requirements
Having some funny problems with UMS running on an Ubuntu 14.04 server and an LG TV (all other rendererts are fine) plus some general stabilityissues.
So after rebuilding my machine from 14.04 desktop to 14.04 server to remove unity, never used it anyway, I am still getting the same problems but ...

defining debug.log and data locations in linux
Is there any way to define the debug.log and data locations in a Linux build of UMS (Currently using 5.1.3)?
I have been working on finalising my Ubuntu 14.04 server build hosting UMS and have found the log file location to be some what problematic. I have a super user (sup1) with sudo rights ...

Re: [Solved] No Files in WMP and Android and only photos on XBOX360
The issue of xbox360 folders has been fully resolved in v5.1.3. The android and wmp problems persist but willing to live with them.

Re: No Files in WMP and Android and only photos on XBOX360
I have rolled back to 4.2.1 and will stay on such unless a need arises to upgrade or these issues are communicated as resolved. I can confirm that there is still no media in WMP or Android, but at least the XBoxs are navigable again.

Re: No Files in WMP and Android and only photos on XBOX360
As mentioned in the original post, most of the media in all folders on the xbox360 is actually pictures being presented as video and none of them are playable. Also, I have just discovered, no music files are showing on the 360 either, no content is showing under music player.

[Solved] No Files in WMP and Android and only photos on XBOX360
I have a couple of problems with UMS 5.1.1.1 which i have bundled up in this one report but can split out if required. I have not tried any other variants of 5.*
I have just installed 5.1.1 on a new clean windows 7 64bit build, previously used 4.2.1 on XP without issue. The UMS is as out of the box ...
