UMS Service not working
I just went though resolving an issue where UMS was not working. The fix was to update Java to the latest version.
This fixed the problem. UMS now runs perfectly as a client on my logged-in Windows Account.
However, when I install it as a service it does not work.

Re: Getting UMS to work
I re-created the previous trace and added the results of the netstat -ab command.
I am attaching the two files.
Thanks.

Re: Getting UMS to work
I disable the Firewall. Same result.
I have attached the debug file as suggested.
I hope there is something there that can shed some light on the problem.
Thanks.

Re: Odd/troublemome behaviour with multi user computer.
I found the solution that I wanted. Here is what I did:
- I installed UMS as a service with the system as the logon owner. (I could not get the UI to show by changing the logon owner, as per your suggestion).
- To make configuration/settings changes I open the UI in any one of the user accounts ...

Conditional Sleep Prevention
I see that UMS can unconditionally prevent Windows from going to sleep.
Is there a way to configure UMS to prevent Windows from going to sleep ONLY if a media file is playing/paused on the renderer?

Re: Odd/troublemome behaviour with multi user computer.
I unchecked the "Start automatically with windows" option, and now I cannot turn it on. When I check the box then exit UMS the option keeps getting reset.
How can I get it back on? At least I was able to start UMS when logging on. Now I have to do it manually.
