and still, more "Unable to play" than anything else....
Wouldn't you rather first test your 3rd party tools before blindly "updating" them ?

Re: Version 5.1.0 is released
Same problem here, subtitles are not rendered. (PS3 - Toshiba TV & Samsung F9000) Only the first 3 are rendered, then, no more subtitles at all. MediaInfo: General Unique ID : 253086762168607131041560317583109534206 (0xBE66BCC4DC4AE0A191E0D7BDC08A31FE) Complete name : X:\Al mijn Louis de Funes D...

Re: time skip makes movies go desync.
Post further info from MediaInfo tool. If audio has a delay and "A/V sync alternative method" is ticked/enabled. Delay is ignored and also MEncoder internal "auto-sync" method is disabled. Try to untick it in UMS GUI I don't think it's that easy to pin-point, since it happens on...

Re: time skip makes movies go desync.
Thanks for the tip regarding the triangle button. Regarding my problem, it's not going desync immediately after time skipping, but rather a few minutes later (perhaps when the UMS buffer ran out, i suspect?)

Re: time skip makes movies go desync.
Hi Madoka, By "Goto" do you mean, using the square button that will present you with that timeline with thumbnails at the bottom of the screen where you can jump forward/back by steps of 30sec/1min/5mins/10mins ? If you"re actually refering to this, then I may have a personal issue fo...

time skip makes movies go desync.
I have this problem for as long as I remember since PS3MS & now UMS. Using the default renderer Mencoder, we literaly must always watch the whole movie in one stroke, since time-skipping using the PS3 square button http://wikicheats.gametrailers.com/images/3/33/PS3_Square.png , will definitely m...

I did, the more i play with them, the more things break.
It doesn't even show *any* mp4 files anymore.
Seems like UMS is one of those disappointing programs where any lower version number means a better product.

Re: Mkv playback stuttering/freezing after fast forward / re
These are bugs related to mencoder or java, you can't even use the PS3 square button to go to a different time position, or better said, you can, but expect the movie & sounds to go desync after a couple of minutes. All of a sudden the image starts to render at multiple times the normal speed wh...

Re: For some reason subtitles won't display
Yeah, no subs here either.
They are just blindly copy/pasting crappy beta updates from PS3MS, don't even test them, and then release them as some "shiny new versions".
