thanks for the quick response, I have fortigates at my perimeter at all of my schools and some lovely layer 3 switching, so I am going to go down the multicast route.

I think, I am 99% sure I solved this.

I took a copy of the config from Samsung JU6400 (which I knew worked with my modern Samsung) and modified the UserAgentSearch and UpnpDetailsSearch with "d{2}SJ850T", then updated the RenderName/RenderIcon values then saved it as LG-SJ850T in the Renderers ...

Try upgrading your network card drivers and Video drivers, if you use the stock standard drivers from Microsoft you may experience issues.

Also is this wireless or wired??

By default a standard java install will install itself into the path. Make sure you run it as administrator when installing.

Also after the install, run a CMD prompt and type "java -version" and do you get any output other then:

Have you tried to Full uninstall and reinstall?

Do any devices get shown on your UMS front screen?

Can you ping the PS3 from your windows 10 device?

Does your Windows firewall allow the UMS out Default is port 5001
