Re: Java 6, 7 and 8 supported
That's quite interesting to know. I've had 7 and 8 installed for a long while since 8 surfaced for end-users. I uninstalled 8 to see how 7 fairs after having used 8 for some time. Tbh, I've not really noticed much difference between the two. I'll wait a few more extensive updates for 8 before trying...

Re: Java 6, 7 and 8 supported
Very nice diversity! Perhaps a little more info regarding Java 7 vs. 8? It (should be) well known that support (from Oracle, developers of Java) have officially stopped for version 6. But updates to Java 7 and 8 are continuing. I have Java 7 installed for now, but it's still unclear if I should inst...

Re: Transcode Function do not work
I have an Xbox360 and a Sony BDP-s3100. But lately my brother tells me he hasn't been able to watch anything from UMS but I'm not around to check what he's doing. I haven't had time to investigate myself through my own Xbox360 to see if it does work or if he's just not giving me full details of what...

Re: Transcode Function do not work
I'm experiencing the same error on my PC laptop. Version 3.3.0. Java Version 7 Update 51 (latest as of this post). Windows 7 Home Premium (SP 1; x64) All English, no extra language packs. I did a clean install since I haven't used this for a long time. I've configured all my options then restarted t...

Re: UMS 2.5.0 Scan error
I was able to obtain the following from the VideoHelp mirror. Sourceforge only had 3 previous versions. Though I hadn't looked that section for UMS Builder. Re: UMS 2.5.0 Scan error
@SubJunk
I can grab previous versions and try with those.
@ukd4v1d
Re-read the whole post again.
I did define specific folders and save.
I also did without saving.

UMS 2.5.0 Scan error
Windows 7 (x64) UMS 2.5.0 So I did a clean install of UMS 2.5.0 and added a folder to the shares. I hit the scan button and was warned it may take a long time. I agreed and it began scanning the whole computer! I've noticed this issue before with previous versions. After adding a folder to the share...

Re: Our first poll!
We have 2 Xbox 360's here!
One of my friends (with no internet; router only) has a PS3 though.
I'm just starting to get into the whole media server thing as an alternative to the time-consuming USB sticks.
Looking forward to the progress, as well as the Interframe capabilities!
