Have updated to 9.8.1 but now all my media folders are showing up as empty. am running Mac 10.15.6 & using PS4 with LG TV, my shared content are external hard drives which have worked perfectly until UMS decided to stop working so i deleted & updated to the latest UMS, on my PS4 i get the me...

Your solution worked for me, I'm using VPN & had to keep switching it off whilst using UMS

Hi, i had the same issue using my WIFI modem, i fixed the issue by directly connecting my iMac to the modem using ethernet cable, my PS4's media server was then able to see my iMacs media. Have noticed that if i have my iMacs VPN running it won't work either,
