nm, I figured out my problem. In the Transcoding Settings tab>Common Transcoding Settings>Misc settings>Skip transcoding for the following extensions (comma separated): I added MKV to that field and every MKV worked without any issues.

I have a Samsung 60" LED UHD 4K TV (Model# UN60JU7090). In the past where I have reformatted my PC using WIn10 I was able to watch any sort of format/container on it. We've owned this TV since 2015 and had minor issues with UMS which I have been able to sort things out (and some loss of hair). ...

I reset my cache as well, it was a temp fix... then it started acting up again. It does the same with with Plex via the native DLNA browser of the Samsung unit (TV or Bluray) for me, this has been an on going issue... I don't know if it's the router or the PC itself or the devices............

Where is this "<string>-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true</string>" String on a Windows 10 PC? I can't seem to locate the files which has this string.

Been having disconnection issues forever and I'm about to go insane.........

Little update... went back to PS3MS 1.90.1 and so far it has been working flawlessly... no disconnects... played various different movies...

Even so, what could be causing the time out? What is explained when UMS see's the target renderers but the renderers don't see it?

Ok, here is another update. I recently downloaded Serviio and PlayOn, they both recognized both my TV and HT without any issued. Put on a movie for my daughter and while using Serviio via the HT BOTH Serviio and PlayOn disconnected... the TV still had connectivity to both media servers.... hmm, that...
