an airplay module would be amazing - realtime transcoding to apple tv / et al is available via airvideo - but then I have 2 servers running :( neither of which work to my apple tv.
Oh and a gui to edit configs - wouldn't that be cool!
or even a user submission library to download extra configs - so ...

two options - find a upnp/dlna video player ( they do exist ) and use that or if you insist on an ios device I saddly have to suggest looking at the airvideo forum.

seconded for r-pi as great boxes - also look at the google tv usb sticks - I have 2 and they also both do 1080p decode just fine. one is a mk802 the other an mk808.

I removed all the k lite pack divx drivers and ac3 filter. Then installed a sharky007 codex pack. That fixed all my 360 issues, except 720p/108p look terrible. Stick to ums for hd content :)
