many thanks for your kind reply. I'll try to look at the suggestions, in the meantime I'm trying to force the program to use that config for my tv.

As I wrote, I'm using a pre-release, 7.0.0-a1. Except the problem I mentioned on the post that could appear often with this release (or maybe it's my niece who likes to watch always the same episodes) everything seems works as usual.

Hi there, some troubles with UMS.
I've been encountered this error for the last 6-8 months, I think, never before. I tried many different version, I think the last 4. Now I'm using Universal Media Server 7.0.0-a1-SNAPSHOT.

this is the log:

I tried, but for a specific movie that worked using samsung allshareplay it didn't work. I installed later k mega codecs pack but I didn't try. I'll give another chance.

Good SubJunk, it worls also for me. After 1h20mins it was still playing.

right, man, I just rolled back to UMS 6.3.0 and after 39 minutes it's still working. The problem is related to the last 2 versions of UMS, 6.3.1 and 6.3.1.1
What was changed in this versions? I'll wait for next upgrade.

my samsung tv (EH6030) is often not able to play the newest movie, using allshare (DLNA server of samsung) or UMS. For sure trancoding is not working on them, probably because UMS thinks the tv is able to play. I installed k mega codecs, vlc (portable, but it seems to work).

I used last 2 versions of UMS with no problem (almost no problem, I still have to understand how to force UMS to transcode some movies that my tv samsung EH6030 is not able to load), now after about 17 minutes of play it stops.
I'm using windows 10 x64 with k mega codecs, java x64 1.8-91, UMS 6.3.1 ...
