I have a Sony Bravia KDL 32EX403 tv. When I play wma audio files to it, it sounds ok for the first 2 seconds and then turns to hisses/white noise.
I know the advice would be to get a new tv :-D but I would like to know how to fix this transcoding - I guess? - issue, as I also want to figure out ...

log files psa, played once, tried skipping, failed quickly with couldn't access server, some minutes later was able to browse music folders, did 2 at 2 different levels, each showed no files even though there are, then played a bit more of the flash, skipped, stopped, played, skipped, then hit ...

i love ums and it worked swimmingly playing to my sony bravia tv before i upgraded to windows 10 :-(
- i've had it failing to start - i've used installing and running as administrator to get round that
- i've had firewall problems (yes i do need a firewall running) so i ditched windows firewall ...

i've had this too since upgrading to w10 I tried installing as administrator and running it as admin too - give that a go
