I seem to be having similar issues. Have installed Java 8.112 b01 JRE and 6.4.1 Snapshot. Have also uninstalled media player and deleted the save file and it seems to keep happening. Media player appears to lose connection and universal media server is no longer listed until Media player is closed ...
