I'm still on an Xbox 360 running as a Media Center - along with UMS taking up the slack....
If either of you can let me know if the Xbox One will play wtv video files (non-protected) via the new DLNA feature with our with out the assistance of UMS, that would be great to know.

Thanks for the tip - I have owned MoliPlayer Pro for I don't know how long and forgot about it. I have been trying other DLNA client apps but none worked with UMS and I've been having difficulties creating a Lumia Renderer that works reliably. After re-installing MoliPlayer Pro I can now stream ever...

I too would love a support for Windows/Surface RT's more limited codec support. I made a donation to VLC, but that's only a partial solution. Can someone recommend a vanilla renderer or one for another device, which might work on RT? I use UMS to connect to my Xbox 360 and would love an RT counterpa...
