Re: Sony Bravia EX devices broken again

@ExSport For the BraviaEX.conf everything should be transcoded to "MPEGPS-MPEG2-AC3" (which is a standard MPEG2 stream with AC3 capable sound) it no longer does that. If you use FFmpeg on ANY device from what i can see a TS file is now created NOT an "MPEGPS-MPEG2-AC3" based stream which is the def...

Re: Sony Bravia EX devices broken again

Without logs from working and non-working version hardly... Logs show nothing what i can see because files will playback on both 5.2x versions and 5.14 which i have now reverted to. Its just that 5.2 and 5.21 with FFMPEG transcodes to MPEG-TS which is the problem. 5.20 and 5.21 is now TRANSCODING t...

Sony Bravia EX devices broken again

Just a heads up to Sony Bravia users. Both versions 5.20 and 5.21 are broken when using ffmpeg. Files are transcoded to what looks like a form of MPEG-TS rather than MPEG-PS. The bravia identifies files as AVC when using FFMpeg rather than MPEG (which it shoud do if it were transcoding to MPEG-PS as...

Re: Version 5.2.1 is released

I have just noticed an issue with 5.2.0 and 5.2.1. I do not normally use FFmpeg for transcoding prefering Mencoder I have a query though.... Why is FFMpeg now transcoding to AVC (at least thats what is reported) on my Sony Bravia 40EX403? This does not work properly, if you pause or skip forward/bac...

Re: Version 5.2.1 is released

JPG doesn't support transparencies, and GIF is very limited in colors especially when dealing with transparencies. If it went JPG, it would have to have a background anyways. Nothing was transparent per say as things stood with the conf it only looked it due to using the same background colour the ...

Re: Version 5.2.1 is released

Have you tried removing the ThumbnailSize and ThumbnailBackground options and adding SendFolderThumbnails = false instead to the xboxs conf file? Doing that should mean it just uses whatever the device normally uses for a default folder thumbnail. It can also help speed up folder browsing. That doe...

That log does not include any LG TV profile, is your TV recognised by UMS?

Re: What is Samsung*.conf CharMap

Im guessing its a Character map setting for unicode function. Probably easier to name files only with ANSI character set and save sub .srt files with ANSI rather than Unicode or UTF than fiddle around with that setting.

Re: Version 5.1.2 is released Same-Same

Initial testing of Java 6 & 8 show most problems still exist: - Parsing characters: '*', '?' - File format Errors when "Media renderer" error seen (probably the cause)........ You have been told numerous times not to use special characters in the title of your videos. They are not compatible with v...
