Re: No UI in macOS Sierra
I don't know much about macOS, but you could try another application, you could use the check on java.com (even though that requires Java to be enabled in your browser as well), you could verify that the output from "java -version" looks reasonable or you could try to reinstall Java. If no...

Re: No web interface
I just fired up my Sierra VM and tried. I experience the same behaviour but without the above error logged, so that error might be unrelated. It's a Safari issue, I installed Firefox and that works properly. I have no idea how to debug browser issues, so that's something somebody else will have to d...

Re: No UI in macOS Sierra
I'm running UMS on latest Sierra in one of my test VMs and have never seen this. I guess you should check that your Java installation is working properly.

Re: new SRT files not loaded automatically in UMS
I'm afraid that's how it works for now. 7.0.0 should address that when it's released. You could click the "scan" button on the "Sharing/Navigation" tab instead of restarting, but restarting is probably faster.

Re: Sony Bravia squashed screen
I suspect that the aspect ratio problem is also found in the renderer configuration file, in this line: OverrideFFmpegVideoFilter = pad=max(iw*1.01\\,ih*1.01*(16/9)):ow/(16/9):(ow-iw)/16:(oh-ih)/16, setdar=4/3 It seems to do stuff with the aspect ration and padding, but I don't know enough about FFm...

Re: Sony Bravia squashed screen
Sorry, it turns out this configuration was fixed after 6.7.2 was released. I'd still try to update it with the latest version though.

Re: Sony Bravia squashed screen
You're using a non-standard renderer configuration for the Bravia that forces a lot of formats to transcode even if the TV can actually play them back without transcoding: TranscodeExtensions = dvr-ms,dvr,mkv,dv,ty,mov,ogm,hdmov,hdm,rmv,rmvb,rm,asf,evo,asx,flv,m2v,mpe,mod,tivo,ty,tmf,ts,tp,m2p,mp4,m...

Re: Sony Bravia squashed screen
I don't remember or am familiar with all the different issues that exists. The point is that although the log file doesn't show an error, it tells a lot of what UMS is doing when delivering the media. As this is an aspect ration problem, the log is very likely to contain information about choices ma...
