Re: UMS / PS4 / transcode folder "there is no playable media"
If your files already have internal subs then there might be a problem choosing external subs to override them. the PS4 mediaplayer can display subs from an external file if your config is set up for it then you wouldn't need to transcode, it might help to overide the internal subs but not sure. Th...

UMS / PS4 / transcode folder "there is no playable media"
Hi there, for my wife to understand the S07 of GoT (and next week S08), I need to transcode the MKV files I have and add external Russian subtitles. Usually this works flawlessly, but, as you already may assume, not this time: If I enter the "transcode" folder the message "there is no...

Re: MovieInfo
Has anyone else noticed that MovieInfo plug in no longer works in UMS 6.x.x? I could never get this to work, and I've been using UMS 3 years now Really, me neither. IMHO this is the worst piece of crap. It was great if this plugin's features would be sourced into the UMS main code. It should use fo...

Re: Version 6.3.1 released
Same here. It was bad on 6.3.0 already, but got worse on 6.3.1 (no discovery at all / same settings).Tanoshii wrote:After updating it was no longer able to detect any renderers. Rolling back to 6.3.0 fixed it though.

Re: No discovery after subnet/IP change
Yes, I have completely uninstalled and removed UMS, then reinstalled 6.3.0 from scratch - no change at all.

No discovery after subnet/IP change
BTW: This issue is NOT solved in any way. Who set the *solved* flag? And why? I've removed that from the op's subject line.

Re: No discovery after subnet/IP change
Generally the change of the IP addresses should not have any influence on the UMS. Seems to me like some net problem or wrong windows firewall setting. The best way to ask for support is to follow the rules written above and send the log. Okay...I followed the rules and uploaded the logs-bundle. So...

Re: No discovery after subnet/IP change
It's most like likely Windows Firewall causing the problems Sorry guys...does anybody work in IT here? If you have two modules of Windows 1) the IP-Config and 2) the Windows Firewall...so how could anyone come to the idea, that, if everything works just perfect, and you then change 1) - 2) could be...

Re: No discovery after subnet/IP change
As I already stated: - BEFORE the change of IP subnet and address, UMS was detected like *immediately* - it was already visible on the PS3 when I managed to navigate to the "Video" menu. - There were NO OTHER OPTIONS changed on the windows host. - Since AFTER the change the discovery probl...
