Re: Live Streaming.
No I didn't say that those plugin can snoop the rtmp url. I said they could be updated to do that. That is a process that requires some sort of programming normally. Either you do that yourself, Channels uses it's own "language" (which can use any sort of script language) for creating Cha...

Re: Live Streaming.
Alright, so I've installed Channels via the plugin manager (seems to have installed PMSEncoder too). Also have removed all the links from the WEB.conf. What do I do now? You said that PMSEncoder/Channels/Jumpy can snoop the rtmp link, so I'm assuming all that needs to be inputted is the regular http...

Re: Live Streaming.
Your log contains only startup code. Reproduce the bug with logging enabled and set to TRACE see http://www.universalmediaserver.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=556 I know this. The reason I didn't bother reproducing the "bug" is because I'm pretty sure it's not a bug and the reason I u...

Live Streaming.
Is anyone able to tell me how to get live streaming to work? Specifically, twitch.tv. I've tried the following in WEB.conf: videostream.Web,Twitch=Honcast,http://www.twitch.tv/honcast videostream.Web,Twitch=Honcast,http://www.twitch.tv/widgets/live_embed_player.swf?channel=honcast videostream.Web,Tw...

Re: Version 2.4.0 is released
Thanks for the response. By the way, one of my most hated things about UMS is probably the UI (and the fact that I have to open and close UMS/restart my PS3 to get it to work sometimes. Oh and when closing UMS it sometimes leaves the javaw.exe process open so if you reopen UMS it won't detect any re...

Re: Version 2.4.0 is released
So was this version compiled with/for JRE7 or still JRE6?

Re: Our second poll!
I just think it's a shame that UMS isn't coded in C++. In any case, there's no need to wait for people to change to JRE7, once they find out the latest version of UMS doesn't work with JRE6 they'll update anyway. It's not like it takes very long to download/install new versions.

Re: The data type is not supported.
Tyestor, The only thing that stood out to me was it looked like the one file that works uses a more recent version of mkvmerge than the others (ver3.3 vs. ver1.5). I'm not too familiar with the app, but I have run into issues with different version of Handbrake, which is what I use for ripping. Mig...
