Re: No content found on my Samsung TV

OK it looks like each TV is being detected correctly and using the right conf. For the passthough option I meant have it turned off too, probably won't make a difference just wanted to make sure there is nothing DTS related turned on. The next thing to do is to dial in the right transcoding settings...

Re: No content found on my Samsung TV

I can't really say if it is detecting properly as you have only 2 renderers available for it to chose from. It did attach the mod conf in the logs though so one of your TVs is using it. I can see a lot of unknown renderers too which I'm assuming is from your computer, but could be from something els...

Re: No content found on my Samsung TV

Is it using that conf? You should be able to see by the name.

Once I know it is using it then can work on getting transcoding to work properly.

Re: No content found on my Samsung TV

I did some tests with a regex tester an all your TVs should work with the Samsung-UHD-2019.conf, but your Q70 matches better with Samsung-Q70.conf so will need to make sure that one has a higher priority or it will not be used. I think something has changed in the way UMS is matching renderers so th...

Re: No content found on my Samsung TV

To get to web settings double click on the try icon or go to http://localhost:9001/ on the computer running UMS
On the old GUI there is a button on the bottom that enables/disables the engine when you click on one.

I'll look at the logs now.

Re: No content found on my Samsung TV

Could you post new logs so I can see what conf UMS chooses for each of your TVs then it will be easier for me to make confs for any that aren't recognised correctly. When transcoding it is only possible to have one audio track and subtitles have to be burnt in to the video so the #--TRANSCODING-=# f...

Re: No content found on my Samsung TV

I had a quick look but I only see 1 of the QE65Q95TATXZG TV's on IP 192.168.0.244. The unknown renderer on 192.168.0.199 is your computer and would usually be Windows media player, not sure why it is showing as unknown still. Just saw the last reply after I typed that, that it was not connected to y...

Re: Ignore Files

I thought the deny file was just to deny access to IPs but I don't think it works anymore, not sure as I have never used it. Just reading this from the knowledge base it does seem that is part of its function but its not exactly user friendly to set up. This is one of the things that should be worke...

Re: Ignore Files

Non media files like .txt files should not be shown. It could be that your renderer is requesting all filetypes so that may be why you can see them. What device are you streaming to? It would be helpful to see logs to know what is being sent to your device (see the section in red above) I'll make a ...

Re: Accessing web player via VLC/infuse etc on iphone

UMS was made for serving local networks, but some people have managed to set it up to be accessed from the internet. It is not something I know how to do, all I know is you have to forward all the right ports used for the protocols as well as the ones used for UMS. There is a post somewhere on the f...
