I've had the same problem, but I don't know if the cause on my system is the same as on yours. In my case, I think it ran short on RAM and everything screeched to a halt when it started swapping. Well, just to answer my own question...

UMS installs into its own directory and doesn't seem to interfere at all with PMS. Works great!

Hi, this may be a remedial question but I couldn't find it already answered anywhere.

I have PMS installed but I'd like to check out UMS. Can I have both installed at the same time? Any gotchas to be aware of?
