Re: The data type is not supported.
Just tried it again with 2.3.0 and...no dice. Time for full specs and more information this time (+ cleaner logs). (information overload below, I have a text file with all my peripherals/components that I copy and paste when needed instead of re-typing them every time) CPU: Intel Corei5 2500k @ 4.1g...

Re: The data type is not supported.
Anyone? Why does this happen to only certain .mkvs and not all of them?

The data type is not supported.
Been trying to play a bunch of episodes of Dragon Ball and it just gives me this error. However playing episode 153 works fine. They're both .mkvs and all the episodes were encoded in the same way. UMS Version: 2.2.6 If you need more information feel free to ask, I'm a bit short on time at the momen...

Re: MKV Slowdown.
Here you go. I can give you specific times for when it slows down too: 0:12 for a few seconds then again at 0:25 at it stays like that for a while. Could it be that I didn't delete the .conf files in "C:\ProgramData\UMS" when I upgraded to the fixed version?

Re: [Solved] MKV Slowdown.
I love you. I'll test it out immediately.SubJunk wrote:OK I think it's fixed now. It was actually a bug in MediaInfo, not MKVMerge, by the way
You can download the fixed version of UMS here.
EDIT: Ok, while it doesn't slow down as much and as often, there are still slowdowns. =/

Re: [Solved] MKV Slowdown.
Please try your best otherwise I'm going to have to redownload a lot of stuff =/SubJunk wrote:It's probable that the way they wrote their code makes their programs guess the correct framerate.
I can try to workaround the bug in the next version

Re: MKV Slowdown.
It looks like it's a bug in MKVMerge that causes it to flag the framerate as being "variable" type instead of "constant", even though the input video is a constant framerate. Setting the framerate in MKVMerge doesn't seem to change that. You could open a bug report with them. Th...
