Re: Some files not appearing to be streamed
I am running UMS on a Gentoo Linux headless server and it works fine. I see that you have all the ffmpeg options enabled which you need. The only difference is that as mik_s says, your ffmpeg version is older. Your version: 4.4.2 My version: 4.4.4 It may not sound like much difference in versions bu...

Re: How to disable web interface
In the config file (UMS.conf), you would have the setting like this:
# Web gui on start
# ----------
# Whether a browser page will load on program startup
# Default: true
web_gui_on_start =false

Re: Router ports: UDP, TCP or Both ??
You have to forward UDP and TCP in your router to the IP of the computer running UMS.
That is if you want access to UMS when you are offsite.
But.... you wouldn't have UMS on the WAN side if you are just using it within you own local network.

Re: Router ports: UDP, TCP or Both ??
Are you trying to access UMS from somewhere outside of your LAN?

Re: No content found on my Samsung TV
To me, it looks like it is using the original "Samsung-UHD-2019.conf" file and not the modified "Samsung-UHD-2019-mod.conf" file
Edit: Sorry, I was looking at a previous file. It IS using the "Samsung-UHD-2019-mod.conf" file.

Re: No content found on my Samsung TV
Maybe you could post the log file again (same as you did last time) so it can be seen which conf file is being used.
Restart UMS so the log file is not too big and access UMS with the Q90 TV and then post log.

Re: No content found on my Samsung TV
Hi, Don't force the default renderer. Are you sure that the TV is using the "Samsung-UHD-2019" conf file? As a test you could just add "Samsung-UHD-2019" .to the choice where it says "Enabled Renderers". If that is the only enabled renderer, the TV should use that one o...

Re: No content found on my Samsung TV
When you go into UMS on your TV (like when you want to play a video) there should be a folder named "transcode".
It that folder, you can select the video you want to play and it will give you different transcoding methods. Try each method and check if the mkv dts file plays.

Re: No content found on my Samsung TV
I see these comments at the top of the Samsung-UHD-2019.conf file. # This is based on Samsung-UHD.conf but removes dts and divx support, which # was removed from all Samsung TVs in 2019, and has more specific subtitles # support. It might be worth going into the "transcode" folder and chec...
