Re: No Rederers were found - UMS is not finding my PS4 or my PS3

If this is your internet router, don't turn off it's firewall. This is your "real" firewall against the internet and it should always be on. However, as long as NAT is enabled, any incoming access to the devices behind the firewall is denied, but the router itself could be very vulnerable ...

Re: Using Samsung BDD5300 - Device Disconnected after 25mb of data transmitted

If you want anyone to try to figure out what is happening, consider following the instructions written in red on top of the page. As a side note, I've never heard of devices assigning themselves IP addresses unless your network setup is wrong. Assigning IP addresses is usually done by a DHCP server,...

Re: Building Question

I still don't know what your goal is, and why you don't want to use Eclipse. When it comes to building the directory structure first and then pack it, I though that was what Maven actually did. But, why would we want to do this when Maven handles it for us? You can also run the .jar file found in ta...

Re: No Rederers were found - UMS is not finding my PS4 or my PS3

I looked at your log, and UMS finds your router - but get no sign of life from anything else. You don't have to enable uPnP in the router for UMS to work, they have nothing to communicate about. I'd say this is a firewall or network configuration issue. You say you have turned off Windows firewall, ...

Re: UMS network issue Android[XT1068]<->UMS

I've used BubbleuPnP against UMS many times (I usually use it to remote control other renderers), and that works "out of the box"/without any need for configuration. If you can't see UMS in BubbleuPnP I'd say you have problems on the network level. Either they are not on the same ip subnet...

Re: Media Player/App on Samsung smart tv

This is very hard to answer for anyone not having this TV, but I took a peek in the TV's manual and found this desciption: Navigate to Network > Multimedia Device Settings. The devices connected to the TV are listed. Select a device connected through DLNA using your home network, the folders and fil...

Re: Building Question

I'm sure there is, the files are not packaged until the "package phase" (Maven term). If you e.g. ran "mvn compile" I'd think you'd find the structure under the "target" folder somewhere. Even easier though, depending on what you goal is, is to Install Eclipse with the ...

Re: Ums not seen by Ps4

Except for a little bit strange restart that's captured in the log, I see nothing unusual. UMS can't see any devices.

This is almost always due to firewalls or anti virus software blocking access. Please turn off all firewalls and anti virus software and try again.

Re: 3D ass subtitles not working due to filename

I don't understand a lot of what you're writing, doesn't have a 3D capable renderer and don't know anything about the 3d formats. I suspect some or all of these things apply to other people as well, and that makes it hard to reply. If you have found a bug or have a suggested fix, please post it on o...
