Some MP4 videos are incorrectly getting their audio stream detected as lpcm, which then triggers an unnecessary transcode of the file. Try removing the following line from your config file:

OverrideVideoFilter=scale=1280:720,setdar=4/3,pad=1280:720

I suspect this is causing your output to be forced to a 4/3 aspect ratio.

the issue that Wolfgan is describing might be the same as a new issue I have raise in the tracker.

Paradox, thanks for your suggestion, however this issue was caused by a bug in UMS.

Hi, After upgrading to v4.0.0 (and now tried v4.0.1) I find that none of my mp4 videos will stream to my Bravia W series TV.

If I reinstall version 3.6.4 all the MP4 files stream correctly.

Is this a bug in v4? or is there a setting that I'm missing?
